Just when I thought
I was down on my luck,
Something told me
To take a closer look.
I saw hurt,
I saw pain,
I even saw
A little shame.
I felt so lonely,
I didn't know what to do.
I thought I should kill myself,
But what good would that do?
Just cause another world
Of sorrow and pain.
Even though I'd be dead,
I'd still be the one to blame.
So I got on the net
For a minute or two,
And to my surprise,
I found you,
And at that moment,
I knew all my dreams
Had come true.
Now I love you,
And you love me.
I just don't see
How it could be,
How such a wonderful thing
Could happen to me.
Now here we are,
Worlds apart,
But that won't change my love for you,
Because you now own my heart.
